What’s New

October 2025

Single Elimination: our biggest update so far! Now you can also create single elimination tournaments.

Time limits for rounds: now you can set a limit for rounds in round robin. This is particularly useful for Padel Americano or Pickleball social tournaments when people play each game or round for 8, 10, or 15 minutes, and earn points they got during this time.

September 2025

Goal difference: now in WTL scoring tournaments you can select goal difference as your rank by or tie breaker criteria.

Embed widget and HTML tables: We noticed that people are publishing links to their tournaments on club websites, so we decided to make their life easier and created:

  1. Youtube-like embed widget that shows any tournament with live updates and standing
  2. HTML tables for schedule and standings that can be copied and pasted in any website or email newsletter

Both works perfectly on any website. Check them out from your tournament’s page => Share.

August 2025

This was the months of quality of life updates across the board:

  • better email deliverability rate
  • improved the UI
  • worked on the rotating partners algorithm to make it even better

July 2025

Log in via social accounts: now you can log in via Google, Yahoo or Microsoft account in one click. We will use your existing account data if the email addresses match.

No score or social tournaments: many people use Brackets.app for fun social tournaments when scores are not used, so now you can make a tournament without scores at all.

PIN code to edit scores: now an organizer can share a 4-digit PIN with other players to let them update scores. This is very useful for larger tournaments.

Updated leaderboard page: now it’s much more clear how the rankings work in a specific tournament.

Control the number of rounds: originally in the round robin format the number of rounds depends on the number of players/teams and courts available. We got multiple requests from your guys to allow setting the number of rounds manually, or add or remove rounds during the game. Now you can do it!

Tournament description: now the organizer can add a description visible to all players and viewers on the leaderboard page.

June 2025

Printable brackets: A lot of people asked for a printable version of their tournaments, and I’m happy to announce that it’s finally here! Now you can print any tournament and have a hard copy of your schedule in case the internet is not available at your venue.

Export to CSV: Also, now you can export your tournament results to a CSV file. The button is located in each tournament’s menu.
