Bracket Size

The bracket size is set by increasing the number of teams to the nearest higher power of two. With 30 teams, the bracket must be scaled up to 32 slots.

Byes

If you place 30 teams into a 32 team bracket, the difference leaves 2 byes available in the tournament.
